This mug was handmade on the potter's wheel from a brown stoneware clay. The handle is expertly crafted to fIt comfortably in the hand. The Mug has been altered with carved groves that feel great to hold. The inside is lined with a blue glaze. The outside is white satin.
Mugs are one of my favorite pots to make because they are by far the most popular items in my kitchen, and because they pose such an interesting design challenge.
