This mug was handmade on the potter's wheel from a smooth white clay. The mug was decorated with a steal your face drawing with my custom full moon and wolves howling drawing converted into an iron rich decal, applied to the pottery and fired a third time to completion. Forever grateful.
The handle is crafted to fIt comfortably in the hand. Mugs are one of my favorite pots to make because they are by far the most popular items in my kitchen, and because they pose such an interesting design challenge.
