Berry bowls are sweet small colanders used to wash berries, and to serve them in afterwards. A true joy to use, a berry bowl is perfectly at home on the breakfast or brunch table. In my home during berry season the berry bowl lives on the counter where there is a constant supply of berries to snack on throughout the day.
The bowl has been handmade on the potter's wheel from a brown stoneware clay, and then embellished with patterned holes and handles. The berry bowl is finished in a satin Sage green glaze. The color highlights the bold hues of berries quite nicely. Of course no berry bowl would be complete without a quaint plate to rest upon and this bowl comes with a sweet matching saucer.
Each piece of pottery is handmade by me in my home studio and inherently unique, which is a quality I and many others value in handcrafted work. Because of the nature of handmade items please be advised that colors, shapes, and sizes often differ from pot to pot. It is my goal to create one of a kind pots that are a joy to use.
