This platter was hand built from a brown stoneware clay with a joyful pedestal ready to serve up a special experience for your guests. The dish is finished with a soft satin-mustard glaze that compliments the red iron hydrangea. The flower was my own hand drawn pen and ink drawing converted into an iron rich decal, applied to the pottery and fired a third time to completion.
All of the pottery is handmade by me, in my home studio. It is my goal to create one of a kind pots that are made to use. All pottery is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. Lead-free
