Dijon Mustard Yellow Woodland Morel Mug

This mug was handmade on the potter's wheel from a speckled stoneware clay. The handle is expertly crafted to fIt comfortably in the hand. The Mug has been lined with a rich satin nutmeg. The outside is matte yellow. The mug is decorated with my own hand drawn pen and ink morel mushroom & magical woodland seeds drawing, converted into iron rich decals, applied to the pottery and fired once more to completion.

Mugs are one of my favorite pots to make because they are by far the most popular items in my kitchen, and because they pose such an interesting design challenge.

All of the pottery is handmade by me, in my home studio. It is my goal to create one of a kind pots that are a joy to use. All pottery is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe.
