This mug was handmade on the potter's wheel from a smooth white clay. The mug was decorated with my own hand drawn pen and ink dinosaur drawing converted into an iron rich decal, applied to the pottery and fired a third time to completion.
The handle is crafted to fIt comfortably in the hand. Mugs are one of my favorite pots to make because they are by far the most popular items in my kitchen, and because they pose such an interesting design challenge.
All of the pottery is handmade by me, in my home studio. It is my goal to create one of a kind pots that are made to use. All pottery is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. Lead-free
