This fat bottomed mug is made on the potter's wheel out of a stoneware clay and finished with a naked bottom that showcases the gorgeous stoney warm brown clay that compliments the sapphire blue glaze. The handle is expertly crafted to fIt comfortably in the hand.
The outside of both pieces were embellished with my own hand drawn pen and ink strawberry plant drawings converted into iron rich decals, applied to the pottery and fired once more to completion.
All of the pottery is handmade by me, in my home studio. It is my goal to create one of a kind pots that are made to use. All pottery is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe.
