These large spoon rests are pressed with Wood Nettle Leaves that grow along the banks of the stream that runs through my neighborhood. Their prickly texture is easily absorbed into this white stoneware clay. I strive to shape them organically so the fired clay holds the grace of the living leaves. They were glazed with a translucent amber glaze that highlights the leaves many veins.
All of the pottery is handmade by me, in my home studio. It is my goal to create one of a kind pots that are made to use. All pottery is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. Lead-free
